Did I do it wrong?”
not gonna lie 老实说
1 | Do I look tired today? |
“Not gonna lie” 1
2No gonna lie/I'm not going to lie, my new office is so spacious.
1 | I'll just be brutally honest, he betrayed all of us. |
To be fair -
1 | I just love living here in Beijing. The Forbidden City, the cultures and the restaurants…all that jazz. |
Don’t get me wrong. -
1 | Don't get me wrong—I'm not blaming anyone but explaining the whole situation. |
1 | Don't get me wrong—she's a really nice person but she has no negotiating skills. |
这里的”get”意思是”understand”,”don’t get me wrong”给人一种,「我理解你的观点,只是我有其他看法」。
